Aurora Borealis is a self taught painter and San Francisco native. Raised by a single father who found his calling building motorcycles and has now owned his Bay Area Harley shop for over twenty years, Aurora is continually inspired. Her father has greatly influenced her passion for working with her hands to transform raw materials into visual works of art. Her eclectic choice of different media consists of urban material such as metal, as well as mirrors, paint, photography, fabric and paper on large-scale canvas. Her most recent exhibits include collaborative shows at local venues such as 111 Minna, and Mezzanine.
